Power profile your athletes with GymAware

Power profile your athletes - determine the lift weight where your athletes generate the highest power.

The Power at Weight report shows the different power outputs that can be achieved at different lift weights. You can use this information to determine which weights produce the highest power output (OPTIMAX) for each athlete. See below

In this example, the results reported are averages for each set i.e concentric peak power and concentric mean power. The report summarises the results from two different sessions that are approximately two months apart. Although the OPTIMAX has not changed, there is a clear improvement in power over the whole weight range.

How to create a Power At Weight report.
In the Gym:
Attach the GymAware system and collect data in the usual manner – in this case it is the bench press
Increase the weight on the bar per set
In the Office (www connection needed): Upload data via GymSync
Log into GymAware via www.kinetic.com.au
• Select data set
• Select “Generate Report”
• Select Report type and generate
• Save as pdf
