Key feature updates:

Add logo option to squads


You are now able to customise squads with their own logos. These will print on reports and be visible when browsing data/athletes online.
To set a Squad logo
  • From the dashboard select Manager located in the top navigation bar
  • Select the Squad tab
  • Select the squad you wish to edit
  • Click Edit - This will open the squad details
  • Under Upload logo click browse and select image from your computer
  • Click Apply
  • Click Close - this will return you to the squad list page

Add custom information to athletes

It is now possible to add custom information to an athlete. This could be shirt size, shoe size, sponsor etc. You as the coach have the ability to enter any information. You can watch a tutorial on this by selecting the tutorial link on the GymAware dashboard.

To add custom information:

  • Select the Custom Field link from the Manager tab
  • Create New
  • Choose "text" or "multiselect" from the drop own menu list
  • If you select "multi-select" enter the range of responses separated by a ","
  • Ctrl click the squads you wish to include this field in
  • Click save
    NOW:
  • Select Information from under the Athlete tab
  • Select the athlete you wish to edit
  • Click edit and fill in the fields
  • Click save

Display additional event info in mouseovers


You are now able to include more detail in your event descriptions. This will be viewable when a user mouse's-over on an event. If the detail is long, the text will be viewable in a scrolling window. This is a useful tool for coaches wishing to explain an event in detail.

Improved viewing of attachments


When a user clicks on an existing event or mouse-over on the calendar, detail of the event appears. Attachments which are indicated by a paperclip symbol can be viewed directly from here by clicking on the link directly underneath.

Group average to session ranked graph


A thin grey bar now automatically appears on the Session ranked graph. This indicates the group average.

Group average on Power at weight report

A thin blue line automatically traces the group average on a Power at Weight report. This is helpful to see where an athlete ranks within the squad.

A thin grey bar now automatically appears on the Difference Analysis report. This indicates the group average.

Latest session for KA


Located under the Finder menu, the Latest tab displays the dates of the latest data inputted to the system. By clicking on the dates, a user is taken to the data entry wheter a form, event, or GymAware set.

Use coach time for athlete RPE - Kinetic-Athlete


If coaches are reporting on the RPE of a session and the athletes are entering RPE of a session, the duration that the coach enters will be automatically calculated for all the athletes in that squad. This is best done from the iPhone/iTouch platform.

Coach entered notes


Coaches can communicate with support staff about athletes with the information being visible to only those users with coach privileges.
Alternatively this function also allows coaches and athletes to communicate with everyone in their squad.

Add sensor detail to gym preferences


Under the preferences menu, you are now able to view your sensor detail. This will help you keep track of your systems, and includes frequency of use and voltage of battery.

We have implemented new colours to match those appearing on the iPhone Kinetic-Athlete application.
